Responsibilities
Position Summary
Extreme East Rigging is seeking a hands-on NDE Manager to oversee daily operations and growth of our Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) Division. This working manager role combines field and shop inspection, team supervision, and operational leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead NDE operations and ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery.
- Perform and supervise inspections: MPI, VT, LPI, PMI.
- Oversee scheduling, mentoring, training, and performance of NDE staff.
- Maintain ISO 9001 compliance and quality documentation.
- Support business development and service expansion (UT & ET).
Qualifications
- CGSB or ASNT Level IIC/III in MPI, VT, LPI (or ability to obtain).
- Minimum 7 years of NDE experience, with 5 years supervisory experience.
- Proficient in PMI/XRF and knowledge of ASME, AWS, CSA standards.
- Strong organizational, communication, and safety leadership skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
Preferred: Experience with UT, & ET; ISO 9001 systems; industrial/fabrication background; business development experience.
Working Conditions
- Office, shop, and field work.
- Occasional overtime, weekends, and travel to remote client sites.
- PPE required.
